Generative series · SolanaRoughly every half second the network seals a new block. We read it and let its transactions make the marks. The blockhash is the only source of chance, so a block's picture is fixed forever.
A fresh block is read about every three seconds; the ones in between aren't shown. Pick any piece to view it large.
The block's own data is the brush. Nothing is left to chance except what the blockhash decides, which is why the same slot always returns the same image.
The blockhash seeds the generator and chooses one of three compositions (Bloom, Mosaic or Flow) along with the base hue.
Every non-vote transaction becomes a ray, a tile or a stroke, laid down in block order. Colour comes from its program family: transfers, DEX swaps, aggregators, launchpads, NFTs, lending, oracles and everything else.
Line weight follows the fee paid on a log scale; length follows compute used. Any move above 1 SOL earns a glowing orb sized to the amount.
Failed transactions appear as broken grey marks. Validator votes decide how dense the background dust is.
A confirmed getBlock call with full transactions, from Solana's public RPC. Up to the first 600 non-vote transactions are drawn.
Save the 1024 × 1024 PNG or pass on the slot link. It's a picture and nothing more: no token, no mint, nothing for a wallet to approve.
